Return & Exchange Policy

Motive RV & Trailer (“we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to customer satisfaction. Our policy for returns and exchanges is described below.

1. Return Window

  • You may return or exchange most items within 30 days of delivery.

  • Return requests made after this 30-day window may be denied at our discretion.

2. Eligible Items

  • All products are returnable unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

  • If a specific item’s description limits or prohibits returns, those terms apply.

3. Condition for Returns

To be eligible for a return or exchange, items must:

  • Be in new, unused, and uninstalled condition

  • Show no signs of wear, damage, or alteration

  • Include all original packaging, hardware, and accessories

We reserve the right to refuse returns or issue a partial refund if the item does not meet these conditions.

4. Return Shipping Costs

  • Customer responsibility: Return shipping is paid by the customer unless the return is due to our error.

  • Our error: If we shipped the wrong item or the item is defective, we will provide a prepaid return label or reimburse return shipping.

5. Restocking Fee

  • Items that were originally shipped to you with free shipping may be subject to a restocking fee.

  • This fee will be equal to the actual shipping cost we paid to send the item to you.

  • The restocking fee is deducted from your refund unless the return is due to a mistake on our part.

6. Refunds

  • After we receive and inspect your return, we will process a refund to your original payment method.

  • Refund processing typically takes 3–5 business days, depending on your bank.

  • Any shipping charges paid at checkout are non-refundable, except if required by law.

7. Exchanges

  • Exchanges are handled once the returned item is received and inspected.

  • Exchanges depend on product availability.

  • If the item you want is not in stock, you may choose a different product or receive a refund.

8. Domestic Policy

We operate only within the continental United States. International returns are not accepted.

9. How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Visit our website and go to the Contact Us form.

  2. Provide your order number, details of the product you wish to return, and the reason for your return.

  3. We will respond with instructions for how to return the item.

10. Policy Updates

We reserve the right to modify, amend, or update this policy at any time without prior notice. The version of the policy in effect at the time of purchase governs your rights for that order.

At Motive RV & Trailer, we strive to process and deliver your order as quickly and accurately as possible. The following terms outline our shipping practices within the United States.

1. Shipping Locations

  • We ship orders within the United States only.

  • We do not offer international shipping at this time.

2. Processing Times

  • Most orders are processed within 1–2 business days.

  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed on the next business day.

  • In rare cases, processing may take additional time due to order volume, carrier delays, or inventory verification.

3. Shipping Methods

  • We use reputable carriers such as UPS, USPS, and FedEx.

  • The carrier and service level may vary depending on item size, weight, and destination.

  • Tracking information will be provided once the order has shipped.

4. Shipping Costs

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on weight, dimensions, and destination.

  • Some items may qualify for free shipping. Any such offer will be clearly stated on the product page.

  • If free shipping is offered, it applies to the original shipment only. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee equivalent to the shipping we paid (see Return Policy).

5. Delivery Estimates

  • Delivery times vary depending on the destination and carrier.

  • Estimated delivery dates shown at checkout are not guaranteed.

  • Motive RV & Trailer is not responsible for carrier delays due to weather, holidays, or other unforeseen factors.

6. Large or Oversized Items

  • Some camper parts may ship in oversized packaging or via special freight services.

  • Freight deliveries may require an appointment or may be shipped to the nearest freight terminal for customer pickup.

  • Any such requirements will be communicated before or shortly after shipment.

7. Address Accuracy

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring that shipping addresses are complete and accurate.

  • We are not responsible for delays or losses resulting from incorrect or incomplete address information provided by the customer.

  • Orders returned to us due to incorrect addresses may require additional shipping charges to reship.

8. Lost or Damaged Shipments

  • If your package is lost, damaged, or missing items, please notify us promptly through the Contact Us form on our website.

  • We will work with the carrier to investigate and resolve the issue, but carrier claims may take additional time.

9. Order Changes or Cancellations

  • Orders cannot be changed or canceled once they have shipped.

  • If you need to make a change shortly after placing your order, contact us immediately through the Contact Us form.

  • We will do our best to assist, but changes cannot be guaranteed.
